OLEG

RAIKIS

 

Oleg Raikis is a sculptor, 

a member of Russian Federation of Artists, International Federation of Art and Chess Collectors International.

 He has been creating chess designs from 1990 and has created more than 250 chess sets. Some of the sets were designed as interior art objects for Cees Hogendoorn Gallery and many private clients. His works are highly prized in the private collections of famous people, politicians, businessmen, including Michael Gorbachev 

and other celebrities.

In 2000, on the eve of the new millennium Oleg was personally invited by the organizers

of the World Chess Cup in China and by the organizers of Kasparov – Kramnik match

in London for presentation of his designs
