A chess set “Flower style” has appeared as a result of transformation of the classical “Staunton” into florist forms on the motifs of Art Noveau, which was very popular in the highest society of that time: at the end of 19 beginning of the 20 centuries.
The set is made: white pieces of mammoth tusk; black pieces of very rare and beautiful wood – bokaut, which is approximately the same with mammoth tusk by its weight and solidity. The set also includes an oak box with velvet couch, which is made in the design of Art Noveau. The king’s height is 12,5 cm.
